Binocular stitching camera is a device that uses two cameras to simultaneously shoot the same scene and then stitches the images from the two cameras to obtain a panoramic image with a larger field of view and higher resolution. This device usually consists of two cameras with a certain baseline distance between them. By calculating the parallax between the two cameras, the three-dimensional coordinates of the object can be measured to achieve depth perception and distance measurement.

Basic Principle
Binocular cameras use two cameras to capture the same scene at the same time, generating two 2D images. Due to the baseline distance between the two cameras, the position of the same object in the two images will be offset, and this offset is called parallax. The parallax can be measured by calculating the distance difference between the corresponding pixels in the two images. Using the principle of triangulation, the 3D coordinates of the object are calculated using parallax, baseline distance and focal length.
